Many Angels Surround a Special Lady in time of Need
One of my favorite
Angel stories is one that a friend told me a long time ago. She was in the hospital having surgery, an important
surgery that meant life or death. We all prayed fervently prior to and during her surgery. No one could guess what
the outcome might be.
Afterward, she told us
that as she lay on the operating table, supposedly under the anesthetic, it was as if she was above the room
watching what is going on. She could see huge Angels acting as guards at the doorway. Some doctors and nurses would
approach the door, then suddenly turn away. These angels were keeping them out.
She also saw a nurse
when she awoke. The lady stood over her and smiled down at her; the thing she noticed most about this nurse was her
incredible blue eyes. She offered comfort and her voice was peaceful. What my friend remembered about her was the
funny buttons, old-fashioned ones, running up the front of the nurse's uniform.
Later on, she asked the
floor nurse to send in the nurse with the funny buttons and the glasses, and the incredible blue eyes. The nurse
explained that there was no one who look like that on their floor – in fact, there never had been. That's when she
knew it was an Angel. She thanked God and his angels for watching over her.
